The popularity of Final Fantasy X can be seen from the fact that it was the second game in the main series to gain a direct sequel next to Final Fantasy VII where it continued to follow the story of the characters from the previous game. Not only that the sequel was a success with it gaining a 85% on Metacritic and IGN giving it a 9.5/ 10. Unlike many other games in the series X and X-2 were granted an HD Remake and packaged together as Final Fantasy X/ X-2 Remastered HD edition. Another thing that added to the gameplay of the remastered edition that will put in my list of best games ever is that it included the Dark Aeons and Penance which were a set of extra bosses in the international edition. Unfortunately I never did get to face them when originally bought the game when it first came out back on the PS2, but now I have that chance relive it all over again with the new experiences as I play it on my PlayStation 4.
Also the addition of trophies into the games remake made it for an even more enjoyable experience as I have spent hours trying to collect all of them just to earn that sense of accomplishment every time I get a new one. At the time of writing this the only trophy I am currently having moderate difficulty achieving is Lightning Dancer it is most definitely one of the most annoying due to you have to dodge 200 lighting strikes on the Thunder Plains but the hard part is you cannot be struck.
There is so much more that I can include in this post about the game making it on of the best games of all time but lets leave that for another time.
Happy Gaming
